Electives
The
students of the MBA Program have the option to pursue
elective streams in Marketing, Finance, HRM, Operations
Management, IT & Systems, International Business,
Accounting & Control, Banking, Insurance, Investments
and Entrepreneurship. Students have the flexibility in
choosing their elective streams. Each student has to choose
eight electives. While four electives have to be chosen from
one single stream, the other four electives can be chosen
from the same or any other stream in any combination. In
order to specialize in any stream, a student has to pursue
at least four electives from that stream. Thus a student can
also have dual specialization by choosing four electives
from one stream and another four from a second stream. The
Program offers further flexibility in terms of optional
free electives, which are not an essential part of the
graduation requirements of the ICFAI University. The
students can opt for up to two optional free electives from
any of the streams.
The
system of elective streams indicated is tentative and
subject to change by the ICFAI University.
