General Merit Scholarships
are granted to the
students securing 60 percent and above over all in their
Bachelor’s degree program amounting to 25 percent of tuition fee
and students securing 70 percent and above are granted scholarships
amounting to 50 percent of tuition fee, subject to their maintaining
minimum specified CGPA, semester to semester.

Special Merit Scholarships
to female students
are granted by way of fee concession of 35 percent in tuition fee to
those securing 60 percent and above marks overall in Bachelor degree
program and by 60 percent of tuition fee to those securing 70
percent and above marks overall, in Bachelor’s degree.

However any one type of merit scholarship is granted
to any student out of the above, subject to maintaining prescribe
minimum CGPA.

Student Assistantships
During 2nd
year at INC, select students will be offered Student Assistantships
to support the faculty in research and tutorials for select first
year courses and to assist in the computer lab. Such students will
be offered a stipend of Rs. 3000 per month. INC Scholarship
Committee will assess the applicants and recommend assistantships
for each semester.

Merit Scholarships
To encourage meritorious students, the Icfai Law School
offers merit scholarships up to 50% in the form of fee concession in the tuition
fees to the applicants who emerge as the rankholders in the Icfai Law School
Admission Test (ILSAT) and who are admitted into the BBA, LLB (Hons.) Program.
The merit scholarships will be awarded in the form of fee concession as
indicated:

Ranks 1
to 5 : 50% of the tuition fee

Ranks 6
to 10 : 35% of the tuition fee

Ranks 11
to 25 : 25% of the tuition fee
The fee concession varies from instalment to instalment
depending on the performance of the students in the previous semester. The merit
scholarships will be continued semester after semester subject to the students
maintaining minimum stipulated academic standards, like meeting the required
CGPA (8.0 and above), attendance, etc.
Merit Scholarships are also awarded to other students in
order to encourage them to continuously perform well in their studies at the
Icfai Law School. ILS decides the thresholds of academic performance for the
award of merit scholarships to the continuing students. They will be awarded
merit scholarships in each semester based on their performance in the previous
semester.
The above merit scholarships will be available to a maximum
of 25 students in each semester.
Fee Concession for Domicile of Uttarakhand
All students of Uttarakhand domicile who get admission into
the law program at ILS, Dehradun are eligible for a fee concession of 25% in
tuition fee. This fee concession varies from instalment to instalment. Details
will be provided in the Program Regulations Book.
Waiver of Tuition Fee
In the unfortunate event of death of a specified parent who
is funding the education of a student at ILS, the balance of tuition fee payable
by such student will be waived. Further details will be provided later in the
Program Regulations Book.
Refund of Tuition Fee
In the unfortunate event of death of a student during the
course of study at ILS, the tuition fee paid will be refunded by the University
