For Executive PG Program (2008-09)

A bachelor’s degree from any discipline, with 50% and above aggregate marks with 3 years or more of executive level work experience after graduation. Age should be more than 25 years as on April 01, 2008.

Applicants who have work experience of 3 years and above

Such applicants are eligible to apply for both 2-year MBA Program and 1-year Executive PG Program, by indicating their choice for ‘Both’ under item 5(c) of the OMR Application Form. They will be considered for both the programs. If they are selected for both programs, they can decide at that stage which program they wish to join.

Hence such applicants with executive level work experience of 3 years and above are advised to keep both options open and mark item 5(c) in the OMR Application Form.

Applicants with the following qualifications and 3 years plus executive level work experience are exempted from IBSAT®.

  • Professional qualifications like CA, CWA & C.S.

  • PG qualifications from reputed institutions like IITs / IISc / BITS / NIT / ISI, etc.

  • Legal professionals who have qualified from NLSUI, NALSAR and other National Law Schools offering 5 year law programs.

  • Any other PG Program from reputed institutions in India / abroad.

For the purpose of determining eligibility based on aggregate percentage of marks, the procedure used by the respective University in award of the degree will only be taken into consideration. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of formal schooling (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis) by April 30, 2008. Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one-time sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible.

The admissions committee seeks to admit a mix of applicants who bring unique contributions from their diverse backgrounds and experiences and who collectively enrich the educational experience.

Students in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations/viva/assignments before April 30, 2008. Such applicants will have to produce a certificate to that effect at the time of admission. For any extension of this deadline, the applicants should apply separately, giving the schedule of their graduation examination. Extension may be granted on the basis of the circumstances of the case. The admission of applicants will, however, remain provisional until they produce marksheets and a degree certificate establishing their eligibility. The last date for submitting the proof of graduation transcripts is October 01, 2008, failing which the provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled.
