The phenomenal growth of law and its relative fields is due
to globalization of markets which is reflected in the increasing number of
international contracts, bilateral treaties inviting new approaches and
integrated skills. |
The emerging scenario requires committed professionals with
expertise in legal and management areas relating to insurance, banking,
international finance and trade, environmental protection and safety of the
intellectual property rights with special reference to the information
technology (software and hardware) and other allied areas. The mission of the
program is to provide a high quality program based on the integrated,
sophisticated scholarship and teaching to impart comprehensive understanding
application of law and management with the aid of technology and is equipped to
play multiplicity of roles in the socio-economics, corporate and legal
professions with ethical commitment in the new millennium.

Placement Services
ILS gives utmost importance to ensuring that students
successfully completing the BBA, LLB (Hons.) Program receive good placements. In
this context, ILS is uniquely placed to leverage on the experience and strengths
of the ICFAI University for its placement activities. This has been achieved
through constant interaction with the industry through seminars, conventions,
executive education programs, summer internships, on campus and off campus
placement initiatives, etc.
As a part of the placement efforts, ILS placement team will
visit a number of potential employers and placement consultants and apprise them
of the level of knowledge and practical application skills acquired by their
students in various areas of law and management and their utility to the
organization as effective legal professionals.
ILS believes that the entire placement exercise is a joint
effort between ILS and the students. While ILS provides the guidance and support
and networks with potential employers, the candidates have the responsibility to
put in the maximum possible effort to obtain suitable placement.
