Location
The
headquarters of University is located at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Academic
Infrastructure
The
ICFAI University is in the process of establishing a state of art
campus with all the facilities near Dehradun. The university has
obtained on lease 95,532 sq. ft. of built up area in Dehradun for
conducting various academic programs of University. Presently the
University is offering B.Tech. Program in Biotechnology, Computer
Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communications
Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical
Engineering. At the postgraduate
level, the University is offering the MBA, MCA and MS Programs. At the undergraduate
level the University is offering the BBA, five year
integrated programs in Law and B.Ed program. The infrastructure
created includes well-furnished classrooms, equipped laboratories,
workshops, computer center and a well-stocked library. Common
facilities like the Internet, indoor games, conference rooms,
cafeteria has also been created. The University has recruited highly
experienced and qualified specialist faculty to impart instruction
to the students. At present 50 are on regular rolls with 14 serving
as visiting faculty.
The
academic expertise and knowledge resources,
acquired over the past two decades are available to the ICFAI
University.

Land
The
required 25 acres of land has already been acquired for the
University Campus at Dehradun, at Selaqui off Chakratha Road with
due approval from the Government. Efforts are on hand to acquire
additional 45 acres of land and an application for according
necessary approval has been submitted to the Government, and it is
under process .
Change
of Land Use (CLU)
The
CLU has been received from Uttarakhand Government Housing Section
vide Notification
No: 04/V/A-2005-12 (L.U.C.)/2004 Dehradun:: Date:12 January, 2006.
Architectural
Plans
The
University had appointed reputed Architects and Planners. The Architects have prepared Master Plan for the entire campus, and detailed
plans for individual buildings including academic block,
laboratories, workshops, etc. These plans were scrutinized by SADA
and subsequently approved on 28th Feb 2006.
Construction
After
topographic survey, soil investigation, provision of construction
power, and placing of adequate project staff at the campus site,
construction contract was awarded to a reputed based company. The construction work commenced in
August 2006.
The
project cost for the Ist phase of construction is estimated at Rs.45
crores and the construction of the same is in full swing.
The
first phase of the University Campus is expected to be completed by
October 2007.
